What better to spend your evening than with gazing at the stars in the Cheshire countryside? On Thursday 2nd November Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre is opening its doors to host a star gazing event.
A fantastic opportunity to learn about our stars and their patterns as well as offering the chance to use the telescopes and planisphere equipment too.
Macclesfield Astronomical Society will be on hand with telescopes and binoculars to use throughout the evening.

Remember, remember the 5th of November! Celebrate bonfire night down at Queens Park. The Crewe and Nantwich Lions are hosting their annual community Bonfire to raise funds for local charities.
A huge bonfire will be lit followed by a firework spectacular. This is not something to be missed.

The annual Chester Christmas lights switch on will take place on the 16th November. Shoppers are in for a magical time at Chester Christmas Markets, with over 70 traditional wooden chalets situated in the heart of Chester, all wrapped around a sparkling Christmas tree.
Here you will be able to find the perfect Christmas gift from their many local and regional products on offer. Such as clothing, accessories, crafts, unique presents and stocking fillers.
