As far as scenery goes, the road stretching from Cheddar to Ashwick is right up there with the best of them. Situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this road carves through Cheddar Gorge, giving brilliant views of the cliff faces. It also leads on to the village of Ashwick - a perfect place to stop and take a moment after the twisting turns of the road.

North Coast 500 - Scotland

The North Coast 500 is a must-see road for any UK adventurer. Beloved by caravanners for its numerous stop-off locations, the North Coast 500 takes in highlights such as Ullapool and many unspoilt beaches. It also takes in some particularly famous locations, including John o’ Groats - the most northerly point of the mainland UK.

Wales Coastal Route

With staggeringly beautiful scenery, the route which runs down the entire coastline of Wales is arguably one of the most awe-inspiring trips you can take in the UK. Travelling down from the Llyn Peninsula right down to St Davids in Pembrokeshire, you’ll be able to take in bustling towns and villages as well as striking beaches. It also includes some exciting roads that twist and turn as you wind your way down the country.

Buttertubs Pass - Yorkshire

The Buttertubs Pass is both an incredibly scenic place to go and a great area for keener drivers to explore. With huge sweeping bends, it’s actually quite a demanding drive - so make sure you’re up for the challenge. At just under seven miles it’s not the longest stretch of road, but it packs a lot into a small area.

Black Mountain Road - Wales

Situated within the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Black Mountain Road takes in a variety of challenging bends and exciting straights, all framed by some of the best scenery around. Rising higher and higher, the road gives an exhilarating view of the Brecon Beacons - just watch out for the sheep that often wander into the path of oncoming traffic!

Causeway Coastal Route - Northern Ireland

The winding coastal route in Northern Ireland is a must-visit road as it takes in so many iconic views. Highlights include the Giant’s Causeway, as well as cities such as Belfast and Londonderry. If you want one trip that’ll give you a little flavour of the countryside, the coast and the city, then this is the one for you.
