Sprintshift and Voodoo Campers come to Lancashire!

Sprintshift Transport and Voodoo Camper Conversions picked up 3 new VW vans from Volkswagen Van Centre Lancashire. Find out more.

Simon Lyons, MD of Sprintshift Transport and Voodoo Camper Conversions picked up 3 new vans from Volkswagen Van Centre Lancashire in February 2017

We found out that it was also Simon's 50th birthday 2 days later on February 19th, so our Business Development Manager, Dave Young presented him with a cake to say congratulations! We hope you had an amazing birthday, Simon and had a great time celebrating with all of your family and friends at your party!

Following Simon's new van collection, we kept in touch, and asked a series of questions about his businesses, Sprintshift and Voodoo Campers!

How long has your business been running?

Sprintshift has been running since 2002, and Voodoo Campers is a new venture that has been running for the last 6 months.

How many vans have you bought from Swansway Group?

We have currently purchased 5 vehicles, however we will be looking to purchase another 5/6 vehicles over the next 6/9 months.

Why Swansway? What makes us special?

Swansway was originally recommended to us from a personal friend, and since this the relationship has grown. This has made us look at changing the suppliers of our normal models to VW through VW Van Centre Lancashire.

What’s the most important thing you look for while buying a new van?

Quality, Pricing and support, with the driver comfort playing a big roll.

Do you have a favourite conversion you’ve worked on/most memorable job?

It is about to happen as we are about to embark on the conversion of a new T6. This vehicle is looking to be a modular design that can be installed for weekend use but then easily removed for every day use as a van, once this has been completed it will be trialled and used on an overland adventure to Iceland.

What’s your favourite aspect of converting a vehicle?

The best part of completing conversions is making people realising their dreams and the look on their faces when they come to collect the completed vehicle and it is better than they expected.

Simon, thank you so much for taking the time to speak with us, we're looking forward to meeting up with you again for your next Volkswagen vans and to hear all about your experiences in Iceland!

Contact Simon at Sprintshift or Voodoo Campers, and watch this space to find out all about the adventures of the T6 in Iceland!
