The Tarraco sits right at the top of SEAT’s SUV range

The Tarraco sits right at the top of SEAT’s SUV range – above the Arona crossover and Ateca – both in terms of size and price. The stylish seven-seater is an attractive and desirable model and, overall, a great all-rounder. All this puts it up there with the best in class and a very tempting package.

It’s worth noting that there are currently six trim levels to choose from when configuring a new example of the model, ranging in price from SE, which starts at £28,640, to FR Sport, priced from £33,695.

Interested in picking up a Tarraco but don’t know where to start? Here’s some handy info about the trim levels on offer…

SE

This is the entry-level trim so therefore the cheapest available at £28,640. Although it’s the base model, it still gets some good kit. Go for this trim level and expect equipment such as 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, a digital cockpit, eight speakers and rear parking sensors to come as standard.

SE Technology

Up from SE is SE Technology. Priced from £29,670, it also gets some great standard kit. For example, the trim level receives comfort seats in cloth, rain sensing wipers, three-zone climate control, lane assist, interior ambient lighting, black roof rails, and dark tinted rear windows.

FR

If SE Technology isn’t quite appealing enough, there’s the FR trim level which is priced just above it at £31,945. It focusses a tad more on being sporty, so gets standard kit like 19-inch alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, sports bumpers, tiredness recognition, keyless enter and go, and an electric tailgate with ‘Virtual Pedal’.

FR Sport

Upping the ante when it comes to sportiness is the FR Sport trim. Available from £33,695, opting for it treats the Tarraco to 20-inch ‘Cosmo’ Grey machined alloy wheels, heated washer nozzles in front, a top view camera, wash water level indicator, and seat heaters in the front and rear seats.

Xcellence

This trim level, unlike FR and FR Sport, is less focused on being sporty and more on luxury. In fact, it’s even priced under FR at £30,730 despite coming after it on the configurator. Xcellence gets kit like 19-inch alloy wheels, bright roof rails, a sliding boot cover, sport seats in Alcantara, park assist and adaptive cruise control with speed limiter.

Xcellence Lux

Like FR Sport is to FR, Xcellence Lux sits above and builds upon the Xcellence trim. Starting at £32,490 – so below FR Sport – it gets equipment such as 20-inch alloy wheels, exit assist, roll over assist, an auto dimming rear view mirror, electric driver’s seat with memory function and height adjustable front headrests.
