Success for SEAT Leon Estate at Parkers New Car Awards 2021

SEAT Leon Estate FrontMilton Keynes, 27 September 2021 – SEAT has added to its trophy cabinet by securing the ‘Best Medium Family Car’ award for the Leon Estate at the Parkers New Car Awards 2021.

The Leon Estate has this year already collected What Car?’s ‘Family Car of the Year’ accolade as well as Caravan & Motorhome Club’s Tow Car of the Year (17 September). The vehicle combines a confident, elegant and sporty exterior design with the practicalities of capacious storage and boot capacity (620 litres) that is essential for famillies and holidaymakers.

“In a world becoming increasingly overrun by SUVs, it’s easy to assume that they make the best family cars. That’s not always the case – and while excellent estate cars like the SEAT Leon remain on sale, the answer has to be ‘no’,” commented Keith Adams, Editor at Parkers.

“For one, although it’s sleek and good looking, the Leon Estate’s luggage area is enormous and usable, while there’s ample passenger space for five. Add in some excellent finance deals, high levels of standard kit and sporty handling, and you’re left with a winning formula.”

The SEAT Leon line-up offers consumers one of the broadest range of choices on the market, two bodystyles (hatch and estate), four engine variants (petrol, mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid and diesel), ranging from 110PS to 204PS, as well as six fully-loaded trims (SE, SE Dynamic, FR, FR Sport, Xcellence and Xcellence Lux) and an extensive range of ten colours means there’s a Leon for everyone, no matter their needs.

The Leon Estate range starts from £22,050 for the SE 1.0 TSI Evo 110PS model, rising to £37,605 for the Xcellence Lux 1.4 e-HYBRID 204PS variant.

Richard Harrison, Managing Director of SEAT UK, said: “The SEAT Leon Estate is the prime example of how an SUV is not necessarily the only option for families looking for a spacious interior, and storage capacity. Within a highly competitive market, it is fantastic to see the Leon Estate take the top spot, proving that there is no need to sacrifice the sporty and dynamic driving experience of the Leon for the practicalities of a family car.

SEAT Leon Estate Towing Caravan

Milton Keynes, 17 September 2021 – The SEAT Leon Estate has been named Tow Car of the Year at the Caravan and Motorhome Club Tow Car of the Year Awards 2022. Winning for a second year in a row in the 1100-1200kg caravan weight class, Leon Estate proved it was not only best-in-class for towing, but worthy of earning the prestigious title of overall winner.

To determine the winners, each entrant was put through its paces in a variety of driving environments at Millbrook Proving Ground while hitched to a caravan ballasted to 85 per cent of the car’s kerb weight.

Commenting on the win, the Caravan and Motorhome Club tow car jury said, “The Seat Leon is a great all-round family estate. The judges loved the spritely, 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine, which worked well with the 7-speed DSG-auto gearbox. On the faster sections of the route, it remained calm and composed, while on hilly, twistier roads it felt agile, the engine coping really well with the inclines.

“There’s plenty of room on offer and the cabin is comfortable. The decent-sized boot impressed the caravanability judges, accommodating all our touring equipment.”

Priced from £29,005 OTR, the SEAT Leon Estate FR 1.5 TSI 150PS DSG-auto perfectly blends performance, efficiency and refinement, delivering 44.1-48.7mpg (WLTP), and comes equipped as standard with a host of the latest technology and equipment.

It’s capable of towing up to 1700kg (max braked trailer weight) and can be specified with a retractable towing hook for £710 RRP.

The accolade for towing joins two more awards for SEAT with the Leon and the Ateca at the What Car? Tow Car Awards 2021. Each model was respectively announced as the winner in the sub-1400kg and the 1550-1699kg weight categories.

SEAT Car Awards

The SEAT Mii electric has won Value Electric Car of the Year at What Car?’s first-ever Electric Car Awards.

  • SEAT Mii electric named Value Electric Car of the Year
  • Good real-world range and driving dynamics help scoop second What Car? award
  • Inaugural What Car? Electric Car awards recognises the UK’s best electric and plug-in hybrid car

The award represents a second win for the Mii electric, which also won Best Small Electric Car Under £25,000 earlier in the year at What Car?’s coveted Car of the Year Awards.

In particular, What Car? praised the Mii electric for its excellent ride comfort, competitive price point, good real-world range and impressive driving dynamics.

Steve Huntingford, Editor at What Car?, commented:

The Mii Electric can go much farther between charges than most rivals, plus it handles well and is surprisingly spacious and comfortable for such a tiny car. Given that all of these strengths are combined with a bargain price, it's the ideal first step on the electric car ladder.

Despite its low price point, the Mii electric still benefits from a single, fully-loaded trim which includes metallic paint, fast-charging (DC at 40 kW), Lane Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition and parking sensors.

The Mii electric offers an impressive 160-mile range (WLTP) and can be charged from 0-80% in under one hour with a DC rapid charger.

Richard Harrison, SEAT UK Managing Director, said:

Despite being SEAT’s first ever all-electric car, the Mii electric has already won plaudits for making the electric car market even more accessible and desirable, and the latest of two What Car? awards this year is testament to that.

The inaugural awards are the result of an unprecedented increase in interest for electric cars among consumers according to a recent What Car? poll.

The poll found since lockdown began due to the global pandemic, 26% of car buyers were now more inclined to purchase an electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.

The full poll results and list of award winners can be found at https://www.whatcar.com/awards/new-car-awards.

SEAT Ibiza recognition at Car of the Year 2018 Awards

SEAT Ibiza recognition at Car of the Year 2018 Awards

The SEAT Ibiza has continued to gain plaudits in 2018 after being named one of the top two cars in the prestigious Car of the Year 2018 awards.

  • Supermini adds runners-up medal to its growing trophy cabinet of award   wins this year at UK COTY and What Car? Awards
  • Combination of distinctive styling, outstanding driving dynamics and practicality earn another accolade
  • Jury of 60 members from across Europe named SEAT Ibiza as one of the two top cars released last year

Announced in Geneva, a panel of 60 members representing 23 European countries awarded the Ibiza a coveted silver medal, with the supermini’s combination of distinctive styling and outstanding driving dynamics earning yet another industry accolade.

The prestigious European Car of the Year award, now in its 55th year, celebrates the most outstanding new cars to hit the market over the last year, with the results revealed at the Geneva Motor Show.

Having already added awards to its ever-growing trophy cabinet, including Best Supermini at the UK Car of the Year 2018 Awards and Best Small Car at the What Car? Car of the Year Awards this year, a rare but hard-fought silver medal at the European Car of the Year 2018 awards has further cemented the Ibiza’s place at the top of its category.

With just one prestigious award up for grabs – no categories, sub-divisions or class winners – it remains one of the most fiercely contested awards in the industry, making the Ibiza’s achievement all the more impressive.

Richard Harrison, Managing Director of SEAT UK, commented:

From early on in its development we’ve known the Ibiza had all the ingredients to be a winning car; distinctive Spanish design, excellent driving dynamics and practicality that defies its segment. The Ibiza has exceeded even our lofty expectations, winning the hearts and minds of motorists across Europe. As this latest accolade proves, the Ibiza isn’t just a segment-leader, but is an outstanding option compared to any car on sale.

In this sense, leading market analysts and some of the most internationally renowned organisations and publications have acknowledged SEAT’s performance in the various dimensions of its activity.

Award winners collecting trophies

Of the more than 50 awards received by the company, ten of these stand out for their prestige and value in the industry at global level. Four of them went to SEAT President Luca de Meo for his exemplary management at the helm of the company. Under his leadership, SEAT is obtaining the best financial results in its history and is one of the fastest growing brands in Europe, an achievement that has not been overlooked by the international community.

Luca de Meo recently won the ‘Best CEO in the Sustainable Automotive Industry 2018’ award, one of the most prestigious recognitions by the global business community and which is presented by the British magazine European CEO. Likewise the Automotive News Europe magazine singled him out with the well-known ‘Eurostars Award CEO of the Year’ and the AutoRevista magazine presented him with the ‘Executive of the Year’ award. The Martorell factory has also been one of the focal points of success this year. The company’s commitment to turning the plant into a Smart Factory, which pioneers the use of Industry 4.0 technologies, has earned it the ‘Manufacturing Excellence Award 2017’ for its high performance, and especially, for its excellent management of suppliers and internal logistics. In addition, SEAT Quality director Joaquín Serra received the ‘Leader in Quality 2017’ distinction from the European Organisation for Quality (EOQ). This organisation recognised Serra’s work as the leader of a team which is committed to promoting the digital transformation of the factory’s production processes.

The other major international distinctions were awarded for the company’s Easy Mobility strategy and for its commitment to integrating technological solutions in cars. In this sense, SEAT’s mobility strategy has recently been distinguished with the ‘World Smart City Award’ at the Smart City Expo World Congress and the ‘Best Parking Solutions’ award from The New Economy magazine.

With reference to the company’s commitment to car digitisation, experts from several European media outlets gave SEAT the ‘Smartbest 2017’ award for being the first brand to integrate the interactive voice assistant Amazon Alexa in its vehicles in Europe. In addition, Germany’s Auto Bild & Computer Bild magazine distinguished the Spanish brand with the ‘Connected Car 2017’ award within the ‘Pioneer’ category. The Axel Springer editorial group’s two leading publications, which present an award every year to the best innovations related with the connected car, acknowledged SEAT’s commitment to car digitisation after it was the first manufacturer to launch smartphone integration technology compatible with iOS (CarPlay) and Android (AndroidAuto), as well as for incorporating Amazon Alexa in series production vehicles. The brand will receive the award at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018, the benchmark consumer technology trade fair being held in Las Vegas in early January.

Highly acclaimed product offensive and finalist of ‘Car of the Year 2018’

As it is undergoing the biggest product offensive ever in its history, the brand has recently launched two new models, the Ateca and the Arona, and has revamped two classics, the Ibiza and the Leon. Extending and renewing the range have not only boosted sales by over 13% in 2017, but these efforts have also positioned SEAT as one of the fastest growing brands in Europe. This growth has also been acclaimed in the form of awards, earning the company nearly 30 distinctions from countries such as England, France, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.

In this sense, the SEAT Ateca and the new SEAT Ibiza were the recipients of the most awards, obtaining nine and eleven distinctions respectively. The SEAT Ateca won important accolades such as the ‘SUV of the Year’ award from France’s motoring magazine Auto Moto and was named best compact SUV by ‘What Car?’, the British publication specialising in the automotive industry.

Furthermore, in addition to being singled out for its spectacular design, the new generation Ibiza was short-listed for the first time in the company’s history for the prestigious ‘Car of the Year 2018’ award. SEAT’s icon also received the Axel Springer Motor publishing group’s 2017 award to the ‘Most Technological Car’. Likewise, the Alhambra received two awards, from Germany’s Auto Bild and AUTO Straßenverkehr magazines, and the Arona a further two, one from the Hearst publishing Group and the other from the Czech publication Motorvize. All-new SEAT Ibiza lands Auto Express’ ‘Best Supermini’ award even before UK showroom launch

Auto Express gives high praise to “stunning” Ibiza for its space, comfort, refinement and, in particular, its affordability

Further commendation for SEAT Ateca in Best Mid-sized SUV class, plus, SEAT Alhambra, commended in Best MPV category

All-new SEAT Ibiza official UK launch takes place on 21 July, priced from £13,130 on the road

The All-new SEAT Ibiza has landed its first major UK award, weeks before it even arrives on our shores, after being named Best Supermini at the 2017 Auto Express New Car Awards, announced at a ceremony this evening.

It’s a tremendous accomplishment for the super-stylish new model, asserting its market-leading potential and huge customer appeal. Established as the standard-bearer for the Spanish brand for more than 30 years, Ibiza enters its fifth generation in better shape than ever, on a brand new platform with impressive levels of handling, quality, refinement and technology.

Commenting on Ibiza’s class-leading quality, Auto Express Editor-in-Chief Steve Fowler said: "The new Ibiza is a stunning supermini with a maturity we haven't experienced in this class before. We love the space, comfort and refinement as well as the style. But best of all is the price - this is a really affordable car to buy and run.”

His words back up the results of Auto Express’ first review on UK roads, which declared “there’s a new top dog in Britain’s favourite segment”.

Richard Harrison, SEAT UK Director, said: “This award provides a great launch pad for our most important new model launch of the year. We have worked hard to make this not only the best Ibiza yet, but also the best model in its class. We’re confident that in terms of all-round performance, style, quality and owner-appeal, it has what it takes to be a winner – and we’re delighted that Auto Express shares this opinion.

“Of course our ambitions do not end with the All-new Ibiza, it’s part of an exciting and ambitious new product programme that has already yielded great results with the launch of the Ateca SUV and the significant upgrades to our Leon family. The All-new Ibiza is the third car in our largest ever product offensive of four model launches in just 18 months, followed soon by the very exciting New Arona compact crossover which was unveiled to the world just last night in Barcelona.”

UK customers don’t have long to wait to discover just what the All-new Ibiza offers – the official launch for the brand’s striking new five-door supermini takes place across the country on 21 July. Ordering is already open, with an on-the-road starting price of just £13,130.

While Ibiza grabbed the limelight, SEAT was further honoured by Auto Express with award commendations for the Ateca in the Mid-Sized SUV category and for Alhambra among the contenders for the Best MPV title.

SEAT Ateca wins best Crossover in UK Car of the Year Awards 2017

SEAT Ateca wins best Crossover in UK Car of the Year Awards 2017

The Barcelona-based car brand’s first SUV has caused quite a stir since it launched last September, attracting plenty of plaudits, not to mention new homes and awards.

Recognising the SEAT Ateca’s broad range of talents, the judges were quick to single out its rewarding driving experience and keen pricing, while among its glowing test reviews were

Quite possibly the only family car you’ll ever need right now

(Ollie Marriage, Top Gear magazine)

For driver appeal, practicality and value, the Ateca is the new standard-setter in the crossover class.

(David Motton, Freelance Journalist)

The UK Car of the Year Awards are designed specifically for the UK car-buying public, highlighting and advising on the next new car on the market, with a rigorous judging process carried out on the same roads as a typical buyer. The judging panel comprises 27 experienced journalists, including some of the most respected names in motoring journalism, who cover all corners of the UK and often drive in excess of 300 cars per year.

As a result of its win, the SEAT Ateca will now progress to the final round of judging later this month, where it will take on 11 other category victors in a bid to secure the overall Car of the Year title.

SEAT celebrates Ateca and Leon successes at What Car? Awards 2017

Ateca wins Small SUV category at first attempt and New Leon celebrates Family Car ‘Best Buy’ victory (£18,000-£20,000)

SEAT is kicking off 2017 in style after driving off with two accolades at the What Car? Awards 2017, ‘Best Small SUV’ for Ateca, plus, a ‘Best Buy’ victory for New Leon, one month ahead of the car even launching in UK showrooms.

Ateca, SEAT’s in-demand first SUV wowed the judges across the board. Among its talents singled out for praise were its value for money, impressive driving experience and top-notch infotainment systems.

Steve Huntingford, What Car? Editor, commented...

SEAT has managed to price its Ateca keenly enough to appeal to a wide range of buyers looking for their ideal car. Not only does it have space and practicality in abundance, its robust interior should stand the test of time, and you get lots of kit. That you can also have a fuel-sipping petrol engine with impressive, yet quiet, performance for this money is a massive achievement.

Its preferred version of the Barcelona-based brand’s high-selling Ateca, SE 1.4 EcoTSI 150, earned a ‘Best Buy £15,000-£25,000’ win initially, before fending off every other shortlisted SUV in its category, to secure the overall Small SUV title.

What Car? continued...

It’s extremely good fun to drive, with excellent body control and one of the best steering set-ups of the class. It’s genuinely agile, which is a rare thing for a small SUV.

View of White Ateca from the back

With our favoured 1.4 turbo petrol engine fitted, it has strong performance to match its sweet handling, but this is balanced with clever cylinder shut-off technology that helps deliver great fuel economy and low CO2emissions. Inside, a family will have room to stretch out, particularly in the back, where leg room – even for adults – is generous. The large boot is easily accessible and a practical shape, too. Mid-range SE trim has all you’ll need too: 17-inch alloys, cruise and climate control, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a DAB radio, Bluetooth, and USB port.

Sharing the limelight on the night was the New Leon. Recently updated ahead of its UK showroom launch next month, SEAT’s best-selling model earned a ‘Best Buy’ in the Family Car for the £18,000-£20,000 category.

Outlining the reasons behind the success of their favoured SEAT Leon version, SE Technology 1.0 TSI 115 Ecomotive, the What Car? team added

…under the bonnet there’s a new 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine...with just enough punch to let you enjoy the Leon’s agile handling. The new 1.0 TSI engine is available in only one trim level: SE Technology. Fortunately, that rounds up most of the equipment you’re likely to want, including sat-nav, a DAB radio, air-con, alloy wheels and cruise control.

Blue Leon driving down the road

Commenting on the brand’s success at the prestigious bash at the Grosvenor Hotel on London’s Park Lane last night, SEAT UK’s Head of Marketing, Andrew Tracey, added

After What Car?’s own five-star review of the Ateca, we were quietly confident about its chances in this year’s awards. It offers everything a compact SUV buyer could ever need, with plenty of space, style, technology, quality, not to mention engines, transmissions and four-wheel-drive, to suit every conceivable need. So, naturally, I’m delighted that its breadth of talents has been recognised. For New Leon to collect a Best Buy win too, before it even arrives in UK showrooms, is the icing on the cake and gives us a fantastic platform upon which to build early success in 2017.

SEAT Ateca Crowned 'Best Buy Car of Europe'

SEAT Ateca Crowned 'Best Buy Car of Europe

AUTOBEST, with 31 countries represented in the jury, names SEAT Ateca as “Best Buy Car of Europe in 2017”

Martorell, 15/12/2016 - The Ateca has brought SEAT significant international acknowledgement as the “Best Buy Car of Europe in 2017” at the AUTOBEST 2017 awards, one of the most prestigious on the continent.

The award, the first major international title for the high-selling Ateca, is testament to the considerable efforts put into consolidating SEAT’s presence in one of the most important markets. It’s also ideal timing, as the Barcelona-based brand ramps up its largest ever product offensive. Ateca is already selling exceptionally, and is soon to be joined by three further model launches in the next 12 months: New Leon, reaching showrooms in early 2017, the fifth-generation of the Ibiza and the new SEAT Arona crossover, which will also be coming next year.

Luca de Meo, SEAT President, says:

Ateca is meant to create an inflection point for SEAT. We are entering a new segment with a product that offers an excellent mobility experience for our customers and truly represents our very DNA. Ateca is positively contributing to taking the brand to the next level. This award confirms that we are on the right track.

In its sixteenth edition, the AUTOBEST jury pinpointed several factors that make the Ateca stand out, principally; design, comfort, easy to drive, value for money and quality sales and service network.

After testing in Italy at the end of November, the Ateca was chosen as the winner over the four other finalists by a jury of specialised journalists representing 31 countries in the final vote of these influential European awards.

Dr. Matthias Rabe, SEAT Vice-president for Research and Development comments:

The SEAT Ateca perfectly combines design, comfort and technology. It is perfect for the urban jungle and its on- and off-road capabilities ensure a spectacular driving experience in all kind of journeys. That is why we truly believe that Ateca is set to become a reference in the segment.

SEAT’s first compact SUV is currently exceeding all expectations and is a crucial model for the brand, not only because it has opened the door to one of the largest market growth segments, but because it is the vehicle the company aims to use in facing such important challenges as the future of urban mobility, which will require new solutions and technologies.

Wide range for all needs

The Ateca range’s versatility was one of the most highly rated factors by the AUTOBEST jurors. Its petrol turbo TSI and diesel turbo TDI engines offer between 115 PS and 190 PS, allied to manual or DSG-auto gearboxes, plus, the option of SEAT’s 4Drive four-wheel-drive system. The numerous options across the line-up include Full LED headlights, to a wide variety of driver assist systems, such as Traffic Jam Assist, and new Emergency Assist and Front Assist, plus, state-of-the-art infotainment with eight-inch touchscreens and Full Link connectivity.

SEAT Alhambra Triumphs In Professional Driver Magazine's Car Of The Year Award

SEAT Alhambra Triumphs In Professional Driver Magazine's Car Of The Year Award

Not unaccustomed to hauling in the odd award, SEAT's range-topping Alhambra has added to it's ever-growing trophy cabinet with its latest trophy as MPV of the year at professional driver magazine's car of the year awards.

Facing up to stiff competition, the Barcelona-based brand’s ultra-practical and stylish people-mover, in SE Lux 2.0 TDI guise, was judged to be the best seven-seater MPV for Private Hire operators.

Mark Bursa, Editor of Professional Driver Magazine, said: “Private Hire operators still need full-size people-movers, and the Alhambra really fits the bill. Facelifted last year with new sat nav, lights and Euro 6 engines, it has always been a potent product. It’s a genuine seven-seater, with ease of access via sliding doors, not to mention low running costs.”

Commenting on the win, Steve Mirfin, Product Manager, Alhambra, SEAT UK, said

The Alhambra was developed with comfort and practicality in mind. Few MPVs manage to offer the space, design and running costs that Private Hire operators want; the Alhambra excels in all of them, and this award is confirmation of that.

Professional Driver magazine, the monthly publication for the UK private hire, chauffeur and taxi industry tests its awards shortlisted models rigorously. The awards are judged by readers who are invited to a one-day test event to put the cars through their paces. Vital statistics such as boot space and sat nav are then put under the microscope, followed by the final hurdle, putting in a winning show on the whole-life running cost front.

SEAT Alhambra Hauls in tow car Award

SEAT Alhambra named Best MPV in 2016 Tow Car Awards

Judges praise the Alhambra for its practicality, power, stability and capacity to tow large family caravans

Award bestowed on 2.0 TDI 184 PS SE Lux model with DSG dual-clutch transmission, part of the latest-generation Alhambra range introduced this spring

  • 2.0 TDI 184 PS ideally suited to towing, mustering a maximum 380 Nm of torque from just 1,750 rpm
  • New SE Lux specification tailored for modern family needs, with features such as power tailgate and rear side door operation, automatic wipers and headlights with High Beam Assist, satellite navigation with 3D mapping, rear seatback tables, underfloor storage, chrome roof rails and 12-way power-adjustable front seats all part of the standard specification
  • Annual Tow Car Awards organised and presented by Practical Caravan, What Car? and the Camping and Caravanning Club magazine

The new SEAT Alhambra has pulled off another honour, being named Best MPV in the 2016 Tow Car Awards. It’s a first title for the latest generation of the seven-seat Alhambra, introduced this spring, sustaining its impressive reputation for being the best all-round proposition on the market – a status reflected in more than a dozen independent award titles in recent years.

Speaking for the judges, David Motton, Tow Car Editor of Practical Caravan magazine, declared: The SEAT Alhambra is a very good MPV and a very capable tow car. With its combination of a high kerb weight, powerful engine and an extremely flexible cabin, it is a worthy winner.

“As a tow car, stability is its stand-out feature. It’s reassuring at 60mph and untroubled at 70mph. Data we gathered from the AL-KO Active Trailer Control system backed up the impression of our drivers, this really is a very secure town car.”

The model tested for the award was the £35,190 2.0 TDI 184PS SE Lux with DSG dual-clutch transmission, a version which delivers a perfect all-round package of performance, comfort, safety and quality.

It has a top towing capacity of 2.2 tonnes, while its latest-generation TDI engine musters 380 Nm of torque, all the way from 1,750 to 3,000 rpm, giving strong and smooth performance and working with the hassle-free DSG gearbox to deliver the kind of relaxing drive that’s perfect for a long-distance trip, even when fully laden. Superb efficiency is reflected in official combined cycle fuel consumption of 53.3 mpg, with carbon dioxide emissions a modest 139 g/km, even though the powertrain has muscle enough to shift the Alhambra from rest to 62 mph in less than nine seconds.

The journey between caravan-hitch to caravan-pitch is made safe, comfortable and convenient in the high specification SE Lux, which includes family holiday-friendly features such as power-operated rear side doors and tailgate, chrome-finished roof rails, underfloor storage, rear seatback tables and a panoramic roof with opening front section. Satellite navigation with dynamic route guidance is included in the Media System Plus infotainment package, together with Bluetooth, DAB and integrated voice control. Up front the leather-upholstered sports-style seats are 12-way power-adjustable and the triple-zone climate control. Automatic headlight and windscreen wiper operation, reversing camera, triple-zone climate control and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror are featured, together with an impressive array of active and passive safety systems, including High Beam Assist, and SEAT’s Multi-Collision Braking and Tiredness Recognition systems.

Steve Catlin, SEAT UK’s Head of Sales Operations, said: “The Tow Car Award is a great accolade for the latest Alhambra and recognition for the way we’ve continued developing it to give customers the best possible all-round package. Not only does it have all the strength and stability required for effortless towing, it’s also ideally equipped to cater for families on the move and designed with the sporting flair that defines our brand.”

The Tow Car Awards, now in their tenth year, are organised and presented by Practical Caravan, What Car? and the Camping and Caravanning Club magazine.
