Jaguar cars are the perfect combination of luxury, performance, style and technology. Take a look at 5 reasons why you should buy one.

Five reasons to put a Jaguar car at the top of your list

There aren't many manufacturers in the world who managed to preserve their allure throughout their lifetime, but Jaguar is one of them. It offers phenomenal drivers’ cars that really have it all. 80 years of colourful history have led to the production of today’s Jaguar cars: impeccably stylish with the performance to match, which truly makes them the ultimate British luxury machines.

Swansway Group is honored to be able to offer Jaguar cars to our customers. Even though there are hundreds of reasons why Jaguar should be top of your list when buying a new car, we’ve broken them down into a list of our five strongest reasons to choose Jaguar over any other car brands.

1. Heritage

Jaguar made its first car in the early 1920s, and since then it has evolved into one of the most renowned British manufacturers of all times.  When buying a Jaguar, you’re earning your own share of rich heritage that this marque brings.  From the Le Mans winning D-Type to the gorgeous E-Type; the luxurious Mark II sedan to the legendary XJ220, once the fastest car in the world.  Every modern Jaguar has a piece of that DNA in itself, so the legacy of thoroughbred winners, stunners and performers continues to live with every mile you cover behind the steering wheel.

2. Diversity

If you’re looking for more space and clearance, then you can go for the sublime F-Pace, Jaguar’s first SUV, shortly to be joined by the I-Pace, a luxurious compact crossover and Jaguar’s newest offering which will be available in the second half of 2018. Finally, if your ideal new car has two doors, rather than five, you should look no further, because Jaguar offers the roaring F-Type as a coupé and a convertible.

3. Performance

Since its inception, Jaguar has been known as a manufacturer of fast cars, and that reputation still stands today.  The XE has a 0-60 sprint of five seconds, but the real fun in the four-door department starts with the rear-wheel-drive XF saloon, which in its various guises of Prestige, Portfolio, XF R-Sport and XF S offers engines ranging from 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel at 163PS, to 3.0-litre, V6 supercharged petrol at 380PS.   The XJ saloon has its own performance version called the XJR, which is powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8, but the 3.0-litre V6 with 335 horsepower provides enough performance as well, which is reflected in its 5.9 second 0-60 sprint time.

The F-Pace SUV can offer more than just good looks, as its supercharged V6 moves from a standstill to 60 MPH in a little over five seconds. The real power comes from the Jaguar F-Type, a thoroughbred supercar which is powered either by a 3.0-litre V6 or a 5.0-litre V8 - the engine choice that will propel you from zero to sixty in just four seconds.

But when it comes to Jaguar, it’s never just about the sprint, because these cats can tackle the curves with ease thanks to clever engineering, well-balanced weight and electronic aids that make every drive a pleasure. Constructed in lightweight aluminum, each Jaguar from the current range is a perfectly balanced, nimble car that’s both fast and immensely fun to drive.

4. Luxury

Apart from performance, Jaguar is known for providing just the perfect dose of luxury for their customers.  Jaguar’s current offerings are no exception, as they all come with various levels of equipment that can be either on the sporty or luxury side of the spectrum.  Whatever variant you choose, Jaguar will offer you nothing but the best materials and uncompromising style.

As a flagship saloon, the XJ, for example is fitted with a panoramic glass roof as standard, as well as heated seats, upholstered in the finest soft grain leather.  The long wheelbase Autobiography variant is the ultimate luxury Jaguar car, and it offers superior comfort for its rear passengers, complete with two 10.2-inch entertainment systems.

5. Safety

Safety is a paramount requirement for most buyers, and Jaguar excels in that department too.  All models have been equipped with state of the art technology which ensures optimal safety in everyday driving. Among others, these aids include torque vectoring, Intelligent Driveline Dynamics, Adaptive Surface Response, All Surface Progress Control, and Autonomous Emergency Braking.

Jaguar’s aluminum construction offers not just lightweight and perfect balance, but high levels of safety as well. With that in mind, every Jaguar car from the entry level XE to the F-Type has a Euro NCAP five-star rating, providing optimal safety for the occupants in case of a collision. Unmatched safety rounds up Jaguar as the perfect choice of a car that’s both sporty and luxurious, whether it’s a saloon, an SUV or a two-door sports car.
